{Powers and Abilities}
Special Powers:Tamaranean Solar Absorption: Tamaraneans can absorb ultraviolet radiation and convert it to energy. Starfire can use this energy to;

Fly: She can fly without the use of wings or anything along those lines. She flies just by converting energy. She can also fly very very fast, somewhere around the speed of sound.

Starbolts: She can channel the converted ultraviolet energy out of her hands and just recently her eyes. However she mostly reserves blasting from her eyes for when her hands are bound. So her eyes blasts are mostly for surprise attacks. Her eyes will also glow green when she is preparing to fire star bolts form her eyes, or her hands.

Starfire also has super human strength and has higher durability than most people. It takes quite a bit to actually injure her. You're going to need some sort of superhuman strength to knock her out with one punch. She can be seriously injured, it just takes a bit of work.

Like all other Tamaraneans Starfire can learn a person’s language instantly by kissing them… The translations aren’t perfect so Star can get a little confused. She doesn’t use slang or contractions and will use Tamaranean nouns when the English equivalent isn’t quite right. Since she uses Tamaranean words it’s sometimes hard to really understand what she’s trying to say. Usually people can understand what she means.

Tamaranean’s powers are controlled by their emotions. They have to feel a certain emotion for their powers to work correctly. To fly she has to feel unbridled joyousness, for her star bolts it’s righteous fury, and her super strength is boundless confidence.

Skills: She has been trained in armed and unarmed combat. Star can cook. She is very good at using Earthly ingredients to make Tamaranean food. It's just no one on earth really likes Tamaranean food.

Extras: Starfire would like her Silkie please. (Silkie is her genetically engineered larva created by their enemy Killer Moth. Beast Boy stole him and eventually gave him to Starfire. Star is Silkie's

{Background}
History: Starfire is a princess and second in line for the throne on her home planet of Tamaran. There was a horrible war going on with the Gordanians and Starfire was captured. She was held as a prize to be sold off as a slave. While being transported Starfire escaped and fled to the nearest planet which happened to be earth. The Gordanians came after her and she teamed up with Cyborg, Robin, Beast Boy, and Raven to defeat them. She decided to stay on earth because people there were “nice”.

She became really good friends with Robin, Cyborg, and Beast Boy almost instantly. It took a little time before she and Raven got very close. It's amazing how quickly people can become close after they have their bodies swapped. Later Terra joined the team, then left the team, then came back to the team to betray the team, then saved the team, then died, sort of. The Titans teamed up with a lot of other various super teens and now almost all of them are honorary Teen Titans.

Personality: Starfire is an extremely happy person usually. She is almost always smiling. She is also very sensitive. It’s very easy for someone to hurt her feelings. Especially when it’s one of her friends. Starfire is really driven by her emotions, which makes sense because her powers are controlled by them. She is pretty naïve, but that’s mostly because she’s an alien. Earth is just weird. Because of how naïve she is she can often come off as stupid. Which isn’t the case. She is actually pretty smart.

It’s pretty easy for Starfire to consider someone her friend. Within 3 seconds of meeting someone she can decide they're best friends. Once someone is her friend they are friends forever. It takes a lot for her to stop being friends with them. Her sister tried to take her friends, replace her, and tried to have her taken to jail in her place and she still didn’t hate her. It is also really hard to make Star mad. Even after what her sister did she was only sort of mad at her. She had already pretty much forgiven her by the time her sister was taken to jail. The easiest way to actually make Star mad is through her friends. Hurt one of them and there really isn’t anywhere you can go that she won't find you. She would do anything for her friends.

Likes: Mustard, windshield wipers, Robin, Cyborg, Raven, Beast Boy, Terra, her pet Silkie, all of the honorary Titans, earthly hair ornaments, her sister Blackfire despite all of their fights…

Dislikes: Friends arguing or fighting with each other, all of their various enemies, mean people, and Blackfire.


{Other Info:} Star flies everywhere she goes. If she is just talking with someone she will probably stand on the ground just so they don’t feel weird watching her hover in place. She is also allergic to Metallic Chromium. VERY allergic, her powers go wonky and she shoots star bolts when she sneezes. She is bilingual (see powers) but a lot of things get lost in the translations. She’s a little sensitive about it.
